Freedom Tower

Gracing the skyline of Downtown Miami not far from American Airlines Arena is the Freedom Tower. The Freedom Tower was built in the Mediterranean Revival style in 1925 and was the headquarters for the Miami News and Metropolis before becoming a political asylum for many thousands of Cubans.  Renovated in 2002, it became the present-day Cuban American Museum.  The dramatic tower is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
